This configuration is not about colors but custom block types. Trees are green on the second image because unmined recognize them as trees instead of unknown blocks. Color configuration will be the next step.
Nice work so far! I am looking forward to custom colors, as I use gravel for walkways and would love to be able to make it show up a different color overland so I can see small pathways.
