Sounds sweet – when can we expect the update?

And have I missed it or have you ever considered having this as a server mod for online games? I know the server I play on uses another mapping plug-in which is lousy at showing the tunnels and other underground features…

Date of next release depends on how much time will I have to work on it.

There wil be a command line interface version that can be used on servers to create online maps. Maybe someone will create a plugin or integrate Unmined into Dynmap.

There’s that dreaded thing… time… and not enough of it!
I can wait so it works properly. Just wanted to know if you have a ETA at all. I’ll just check back again!

Custom blocks and Biomes? Does that mean we can give custom colors to blocks? I’m keeping a map diary/log and the only downside to unmined so far has been that the maps are not pretty because of all the gray, and that gravel paths don’t show up. So I’m looking forward to that.

Looking forward to the next version! I tried out unmined yesterday and I love it!

(Looking especially forward to the command-line feature, to generate maps on my linux server)

So… it’s been over two weeks… and being a fellow developer I know estimates are never accurate (especially when it’s your own time!) but any idea of an update date? Just checking in and trying to be patient… :)

I spent only a few hours coding Unmined last week because of my work and battlefield p4f. Tabbed interface and configuration system are almost ready. Plans have changed, I’m going to make a new release as soon as possible with reduced functionality.

That’s cool – this tool is far to useful for me to complain about any delays! It works just great now, so any improvements are just icing on the cake.

I’m just commenting to say that this tool is looking seriously awesome. I would absolutely LOVE to have the web-based map for my server, I’m stuck using things that take up far too much space on my web server at the moment.

Anyway, just thought I’d say keep up the great work and I’m seriously looking forward to the release of the update with the web-based generator :)
